On Call Board-Shelter Monitor
The Pueblo Rescue Mission is seeking individuals with big hearts to help manage the shelter, especially during cold weather months. We offer comprehensive training and we want to work around your schedule. You tell us when you can fill in, and we will place you on the work board.
If you can offer 4 hours of volunteer time or even 8 hours, we'd be grateful.
Joining forces with you will help us expand and provide more services and provide more shelter to more people. We're asking you to join us in being the feet and hands of Jesus.
We offer 4-hour shifts: 3 PM-7 PM, 7 PM-11 PM, 11 PM-3 AM, 3 AM-7 AM
We offer 8 hour shifts: 3 PM-11 PM and 11 PM-7 AM

We offer a small stipend for any volunteers working an 8 hour shift from 11pm-7am.

Mission
Mentor Program
The focus of the Mentor Program is to come alongside a program resident and model healthy living and to help with rehabilitative and spiritual needs through one’s faith in Jesus Christ. The Mentor Program uses a continuum of care that works to create a growing, healthy relationship.
We are grateful for those willing to invest their time in the service of others to help them reach their goals of living a more purpose driven life.
We are pleased that you have decided to be involved in the life of a Pueblo Rescue Mission program resident. We believe that forming Godly and healthy relationships in the community will be immensely beneficial for our clients in their journey to stabilization and recovery.

Our goal is to help each resident experience Redemption, Recovery and Restoration through our Mission Mentor Program. This program will be a crucial component of the Restoration piece.

We are always looking for motivated individuals who want to share their skills, resources and talents to facilitate groups in our "Step Back In' program, or if you have a special talent that we can create a new class or group especially for you, don't hesitate to reach out to the Mission. Art, music, mental health and wellness education, financial empowerment, self-esteem building, addiction supports, and faith based studies for men and women. These are just a few of the ways we look to empower our residents and the homeless of Pueblo. Maybe you have more ideas for ways we can build and grow this program. We're ready to listen!
